• When and where is the County Festival?

The 2026-2027 Festival will be held in the Central Bucks School District from Thursday, February 25 - Friday, February 26, 2027 (with February 27 as the snow date for the concerts).

• When and where are the auditions?

Auditions for the 2027 Bucks County Music Festival will take place in the Pennsbury School District:
High School auditions - Tuesday, January 5, 2027 at Pennsbury HS East
Middle School auditions - Wednesday, January 6, 2027 at Pennsbury HS East

• Who is eligible to audition for the County Festival?

To be eligible to audition for the County ensembles, you must be a student in grades 7-12 and attend school in Bucks County. You must be a member of your school's music group. Also, your school music teacher must be a dues-paying member of BCMEA. For more clarification, you may e-mail bcmeapresident@gmail.com.
Students are registered to audition for the BCMEA festival groups by their music teachers. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact your school band, chorus, or orchestra teacher.

• When and where is String Day 2026?

String Day will be Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Newtown Middle School. Further details are forthcoming. Eligible students must register through your string teacher at school. There is a $5 fee for each participant. Check our String Day page for more information about String Day.
